Report from the heart of a “Black Lives Matter” demonstration in Los Angeles!

After the murder of George Floyd, America was set ablaze, as in Los Angeles, the scene of violent riots. Story. By Jacky Goldberg, Los Angeles Correspondent.A strange screeching sound, followed by a loud bang and the hooting of car alarms brought residents out of their homes on Sunday, June 1, despite the curfew introduced in Los Angeles for the second consecutive night, in order to prevent riots. All the neighbors on this usually quiet street, in a predominantly Latino neighborhood, found themselves on their front steps, wondering what had caused such a noise. 

Two days that the city is screaming, that the police sirens, helicopter rounds and other fireworks constantly resound, of which a few smart guys seem to have built up endless stocks so that their crackling never stops. But this time it's different, everyone felt it. In the sky, a plume of white smoke creeps between the slender silhouettes of the palm trees, a few hundred meters away. What happened ? Curfew obliges, impossible to go and check on the spot. We just guess that there, LA no longer makes its cinema.
